BuildDrawing Privacy Notice
Effective: October 12, 2026
Bileg Duro LLC ("Build AI", "we") provides BuildDrawing, a CAD drawing application in the browser at https://drawing.build-ai.tech (the "Application"). This notice says what the Application keeps, where, for how long, and what you can do about it. It adds to the Build AI Privacy Policy (https://www.build-ai.tech/en/privacy), which also applies. Where the two differ on the Application, this notice governs.
1. Your account
You sign in with an email address and password, or with Google. The account is the Build AI account shared with BuildPlan (https://plan.build-ai.tech): one sign-in covers both. We keep your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and picture Google gives us. We never see your password; the sign-in service stores it hashed. Your plan — Free, Pro or Enterprise — and when a paid term ends are kept with this account by BuildPlan, where paid plans are bought. The Application reads them to apply your plan's limits (section 3), and does not change them. You can try the Application without an account. A drawing made so stays in your browser, and nothing of it is sent to us unless you ask the AI assistant (section 3).
2. Your drawings
When you are signed in, each drawing is saved in your browser and in the cloud. In the cloud we keep:
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| The drawing: its objects, name, scale and when it was saved | Until you delete it |
| Earlier versions of a drawing (at most one every 10 minutes) | The last 20 of each drawing |
| A drawing you deleted, so that you can restore it | 30 days, then it is emptied |
Only you can read your drawings: every request runs as you, and the database refuses another account's rows. Our staff do not open drawings, except when you ask us to for support or the law requires it.
3. The AI assistant
When you send a request to the AI assistant, we send to an AI provider what the answer needs: • your words; • the part of the drawing the request concerns: the objects you selected, those around them, and the rooms found in the walls; • a file you attach (a picture, a PDF, a DXF). A request in words, with what it attaches, goes to OpenAI first and to Google (Gemini) if OpenAI cannot answer; a scanned plan is read by Google (Gemini). We send no email address or name with a request. We do not keep the request or the answer. What you confirm becomes part of your drawing (section 2). We count requests per account and day, to hold each account to its plan's daily allowance: AI requests, and of them plans read from a scan. The counts (a date and two numbers) are kept with the account. For the Free plan we also count each day's requests of all free accounts together; that total names no account. We use both providers' paid API services (the OpenAI API and the paid tier of the Gemini API). Under their terms they do not use what we send to train or improve their models, and keep it only for a limited time (at OpenAI up to 30 days) to detect abuse and where the law requires. Do not put other people's personal information in a request or an attachment.
4. What stays in your browser
The Application keeps in your browser, and does not send to us: • a copy of each drawing you open, so it works offline and survives a closed tab; • the list of your drawings and which are open as tabs; • a drawing replaced by a backup or a version, so that you can bring it back; • your settings (grid, snap, ortho, dark drawing area) and which getting-started steps you have done. It sets at most three cookies: your sign-in session, which it needs to work, the language you chose and, if you choose one, the country you draw for. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Until you choose a country, the Application takes it from the country your connection comes from, as our hosting provider reports it (Mongolia, or Japan for anywhere else), to decide which sheet a new drawing is issued on and whether Mongolia's housing norm applies to a planned home. That country is used only to answer the request it comes with, and is not kept.
5. When something goes wrong, and how the Application is used
Error reports. When a page fails, it tells our server the error message, the address of the page without anything after "?" or "#", the version of the Application and, if you are signed in, your account's identifier. "Report a problem" sends your own words as well. They are written to our hosting provider's logs, not to a database, and are not kept longer than 30 days. Page views. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics: the address of the page without its query or fragment, the browser, the device type and the country. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. What you draw, type or attach is never sent to it. Usage counts. When you are signed in, the Application counts what is done in it, to learn which features help: a drawing created or opened; a DXF, a Jw_cad (JWW) drawing or a backup brought in; an AI answer confirmed or put down, and of which kind (drawing, edit, planned home, read plan); a PDF, DXF or PNG exported, or everything downloaded. Each count is the kind, at most that one word, and the time, kept with your account. It never holds a drawing, words you typed or a file name. We read these counts only in aggregate. They are deleted with your account. Server logs. Our hosting provider records each request's IP address, time and browser for operating and protecting the service, and keeps them for a short period. For each AI request we log which provider answered, how long it took and how many tokens it used, with a key derived from your account that does not name you — never your words, the drawing or an attachment.
6. Who processes the data, and where
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Sign-in, and the database your drawings are kept in | Tokyo, Japan |
| Vercel | Hosting the Application, logs, page views | South Korea (the server), United States |
| OpenAI | Answering AI requests in words | United States |
| Google (Gemini API) | Reading scanned plans; answering when OpenAI cannot | United States and other countries |
| Dodo Payments | Selling a paid plan and taking its payment, as the seller (merchant of record) | As its own privacy policy says |
Data sent to these providers may be processed outside the country you live in. We use them under their terms for businesses, which oblige them to protect it. Dodo Payments is different: it is the seller of a paid plan, not a processor working for us. What it receives, and what we keep about your payments, is in section 11 of the Subscription and Payment Terms (https://www.build-ai.tech/en/billing/terms). It never applies to the Free plan.
7. Your choices
• Download everything. "Download all" on the Application's start page saves every drawing as a backup file in one archive. • Delete a drawing. It moves to "Recently deleted" for 30 days, where you can restore it, and is then emptied. • Delete all your drawings. "Delete all my drawings" on the start page deletes every drawing you have in the cloud at once, with its earlier versions and anything in "Recently deleted", and removes the copies in that browser. It cannot be undone. Copies in the browser of another device stay there until you remove them on that device. Your account stays, so BuildPlan is not affected. • Delete your account. See section 8. You also have the rights the Build AI Privacy Policy describes — to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, and to object — by writing to contact@build-ai.tech.
8. Deleting your account
Because one Build AI account signs you in to both BuildDrawing and BuildPlan, deleting it ends your access to both. To delete it: 1. Write to contact@build-ai.tech from the email address of the account, with the subject "Delete my account". 2. We reply to confirm that the request is yours and tell you what the deletion removes. Before you confirm, you can download your drawings (section 7). 3. Within 30 days of your confirmation we delete the account. Everything the Application keeps with it is deleted with it: your drawings, their versions, "Recently deleted", the daily AI counts and the usage counts. Your BuildPlan data is deleted under the BuildPlan terms. Copies of the database kept for recovery from failures are replaced within a further 30 days. Error reports and server logs expire as section 5 says. Copies in your browsers are not reachable by us: remove them there, or with "Delete all my drawings" before you write to us. An account that is not used is not deleted on our own initiative while the Application is offered. If we stop offering it, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so that you can download your drawings.
9. What we do not do
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. • We do not train AI models on your drawings, requests or attachments, and our AI providers do not either (section 3). • We do not show your drawings to other users.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this notice, we publish the new text here with its date; a change that reduces your rights takes effect no sooner than 14 days after we publish it. Questions and requests: contact@build-ai.tech.
